Online CRSS Course Ready to Launch

The team here at The Academy for Addiction Professionals is very excited to announce that the Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) 75 hour course is now available online. The course is split into five classes that follow the requirements set forth by the Florida Certification Board. Each of the five classes has a core component paired with an elective. Students completing these classes will have met the educational requirements to then take the final exam for certification. Students will need to ensure that they qualify for the designation by visiting our CRSS web page and reviewing the criteria.

The CRSS designation can be very useful for clinicians in many fields who are exposed to or assist with addiction related services. With an overview of addiction theory and principles as well as in depth coverage of many important topics, CRSS students will have the skills they need to more effectively assist clients as they work their way through treatment and recovery. The ultimate goal is to increase the level of care that addicted individuals receive in medical and rehab facilities throughout Florida and beyond.
